Product quality and the production itself is prime concern of CONGALSA. During the production, CONGALSA performs constant controls, i.e. with OCS checkweighers detecting contamination via metal detectors and X-ray systems. All processes are audited and CONGALSA is ISO 9000, BRC, ISO 14000 and EMAS certified. Just recently, CONGALSA has incorporated two new OCS checkweighers, the HC-MDi, which both combine product weighing and metal detection. Due to their logical system menus which can be operated from the control unit, these checkweighers are very easy to handle while production, reporting and statistics are covered in one step. The checkweighers dispose of two independently working rejection systems; one is responsible for the weight, the other for metal detection. The weight control function of the HC series is very exhaustive. The Weigh Cell is mounted on a massive block and the frame consists of a massive construction that guarantees the stability of the product and absorbs possible external vibrations. The whole unit is made of stainless steel.
The patented conveyor belts also absorb possible external disturbances and the servomotors guarantee a silent, quick and secure transport. Thus, these checkweighers with sizes of 290 x 130 x 28mm, weight of 500g and a velocity of 90 products per minute have been rated with great satisfaction. The principal element of the machine, the Weigh Cell is based on EMFR technology (Electro Magnetic Force Restoration) surpassing basic strain gauge from other fabricants by far.
With this technology, CONGALSA can easily adjust the margin of discarded products by assuring the reliable rejection of incorrect products and thus obtaining stable product weights.
